The Distinguished Service Award is made annually to a current member of the IIE-Great Detroit Chapter to recognize distinguished service based on major contributions to the professional chapter. Major contributions include but are not limited to honorably representing the chapter at regional and national events, enhancing member services, supporting student and professional chapter initiatives, and active attendance at chapter sponsored activities.

Award
This recognition consists of an engraved glass plaque. There is no honorarium attached to this award.

Eligibility
Active Member of the IIE-GDC. There are no restrictions or preferences as to the nationality, race, sex, creed or age.
